New rumours function
23rd September 2009

Resident IT'omacer, Jay, has updated the rumours section so now rumours can include a reply to function. This hopefully will remove any problems people might have been having with the old linked-email system.

This new function should provide both you and the ref' with a copy of your query and will provide them with your email address (check that this is correct when submitting) for them to reply to you with.

So a thank you to Jay and a good luck for everyone else with their queries.

I have noticed that in some of my postings I have gone for my spelling of Catraeth in my emails rather than the web spelling of Catreath. If people have had difficulty contacting me with DT this may be the reason.

Website Update

Greetings all. It's been a long time since I did any improvements to the website so I thought I would tweak a few things that were in need of tweaking and add some things here and there.

Most of the changes are to the way your character information is stored and processed so not really noticable however, two things I think may be of interest:-

  1. Lifestyle Point Sharing: You can now donate lifestyle points to fellow players by following the "Give to Player" button on your character return. Useful if you are performing a joint IC endeavor or wishing to co-habit etc.
  2. WYSIWYG Editor Control: By bolting on some rather nifty opensource code, now you can format your equipment lists, notes and downtime without the need for HTML.

Website Update...Suggestions Needed...Where did all the downtime go?

The observant amongst you may have spotted that the downtime section of the character return has disappeared. Do not fret; those of you who have used the downtime section of the return will have their previously stored data returned to them when I finish the new, improved and hopefully more intuitive Downtime Section.

The downtime section is but one of a few intended updates to the website and the player tools but, since I am keen right now, why not send me your ideas...what do you want to see here people, why not Make A Suggestion?

Player's Guide Online...the beginnings

The First Sections of the Player's guide are now available on the website. Right now the links to the specific details of each of the gods are dead as I got this far and decided it was way past my bedtime. I'll put them up when I get a chance, until then...watch this space.

The new catreath website is about to go live. The next update should see the addition of a complete players guide so watch this space.



Weekend event
13th June 2007

There is lots and lots of news about the event and I am sure Ella will find the time to update this site soon enough. For now the headlines I have gleamed.

  1. The event will cost 30 pounds.
    (This will include all the food and non alcoholic drink)
  2. We are at the site for 2 nights which are in character.
  3. The event will finish when we have finished cleaning up the site of our presence on sunday morning (early morning)
  4. The event in character is the shindig by Thomas of Eoforwic, a well-reputed alchemist, who is rumoured to be selling a potion that will make you immortal
  5. Some players will be guests present, other will he hired to provide their services.
  6. The money needs to be in Ella's hand before the of June.
    So it is no longer enough to just say you'll come.

I am sure there is oodles more to tell and you will know it in time.



Addition to Online Character Returns
